| Trojan horse, is a program that users did not intent to install, but get infected with it as they installed a program containing undeclared malicious program code, or trojan is a program which is a trojan at whole, because it does not correspond to the features declared and acts rather for its creators and distributors, than for users, benefits. Hence, trojans are obviously divided into partial and total trojans; partial trojans are programs constituting a part of a program that really corresponds to user’s demand, and total trojans, respectively, are the programs disguised as useful software but actually being useless, annoying or destructive etc. Such a classification, however, is not applied in practice, and trojans are rather classified by the popular groups, namely “backdoor trojan”, “Vundo Trojan”, Zlob Trojan” etc, which is rather a functional classification. |
